Many students are going to volunteer their free time to help others in the coming winter vacation. We did a survey in our class. Here are the results. Most of the students would like to go to the old people’s home. Some of them prefer to visit the sick kids in hospital. And the rest want to clean up the city parks.

I am willing to go to the old people’s home. What the old people need most is good company because they are very lonely. So I will chat with them to comfort them. I can even sing and dance for them. Besides I will help them clean their rooms.

In general it is meaningful to do volunteer work. Not only can I help others but also I can improve myself at the same time.
