Our country has developed rapidly in recent years.However,in such a large developing country,we still can find poverty everywhere.When we walk across an overpass or an underpass,we could see beggars sitting there.We can find articles on everyday newspapers about patients who are seriously ill but cannot afford the medical fare.If we go to the countryside in a remote area,we can find much more severe situation on poverty.According to a government report,there are still XXX people living under the poverty line.
What can we do facing this problem?We may give a few coins to street beggars; we may donate some money to miserable patients,or we could go to poor countryside as a volunteer working for a couple of years.But even we do all these,can we solve the problem in our country?
The answer is definitely NO.The only way to solve the poverty problem in China is to build up a complete social welfare system.
