      Hello!I am Li Hua，a senior 1 student．I have just learned about this six-month Student Exchange Program in Kent，which I take a great interest in and I am writing to apply for it．The reasons are as follows：
     First and foremost，I can make an acquaintance of many new friends，and we can introduce our own culture to each other．Secondly，homestay enables me to have an authentic experience of the local life and meanwhile improve my spoken English．Thirdly，by sightseeing，I can make a close exploration of the local customs and practice，thus expanding my knowledge．
