However World Heritage sites are now facing many serious problems. Firstly some sites are badly damaged or completely destroyed by natural disasters such as earthquakes sandstorms weathering and so on. Secondly many directors choose the beautiful World Heritage sites to shoot films and TV plays. Some visitors scratch on the old buildings stones and trees and many sites are seriously polluted. Besides constant wars and a lot of construction also do great damage to some sites.

Obviously many factors contribute to the damage of World Heritage sites and it’s an urgent task for us to take steps to preserve them…
