1.好像这种语法里叫,伴随状语.主句是they came to the front desk.他们来到前台.来干嘛?就是后半句的从句,从句的动词要用ing形式,表示目的.hoping可以换成 and hoped,这时候came和hoped就是同等级并列关系.
