请问下面这句英语中最后 and about 后面是个什么结构,感觉好别扭,
The children did not know what the Neverland was like,and each child had different ideas about what the people who lived there were like,and about what things that happened there.
我的问题是：第一个about后面跟的是一个句词从句，而第二个about后跟的是什么结构？若说是一个名词词组，应该是，about the things that happened there.而不应有what 若用了what things 就应该也引出一个名词从句，但这里只有一个疑问名词词组what things（后面的that happened there只是一个修饰成分）。要么它是一个省略结构？后面省略了there might be 之类？
