Cars of the Future:
Due to the fact that every family has car(s) of its own, road traffic is a big problem for the city. Hence the car of the future will be of small size. It will be only one-third the size of the existing one. Therefore it will not be so congested to allow these cars driving on the road.
With regard to the car speed, it will be about 65kM per hour for the future cars to avoid over-speed driving that causes accidents. However, such small size and low speed cars are only suitable for use inside the city. They are not suitable for long distance journeys. Hence another bigger size car will be needed for long distance travel. To cater for these two types of future cars, the roads / highways will be designed differently to match the different requirements of the cars.
