friends在这里表示一个种类,即一个团体,所以,可以用is,我记得有个歌手团体叫做a teens,teen是青少年的意思,一次相同,即一个青少年团体的意思.不过,像初中或是高中的话大多数还是用are的,到了大学之后,可以略随意.
