There are a lot of senses/significances/meanings in English learning. Everyone has his own point of view.
Some people think that learning English can bring them great fun. It is very convenient for them to go abroad travelling and communicate with foreigners. If you master the language, you can easily get along well with foreign people. In addition, if you know the language, it is helpful for them to get to know foreign friends and understand foreign cultures.
But some people don't think so. They are afraid and have some difficulty in learning English. When they meet some difficulty, they want to give it up.They think that it is a waste of time to learn English.
In my opinion, I would rather learn more about the language than do something else. It is good and helpful for me to learn English. I' d like to go abroad travelling and make as many foreign friends as possible. We need friends, not only Chinese at home but also abroad.
