It`s Mother `s Day today,the socond Sunday of May.It is a western festival,but many western festivals are popular in China now.
My mother has a full-time job,but she has to do most of the housework.She is a great mother.Both Father and I planned to do something on Mother`s Day.We got up eariy in the morning. My father cleaned the room,and then went shopping. When he came back,I found a bunch of carnations in his hand.l asked my mother to stay in the sitting room and l cooked in the kichen by myself.The dishes l cooked are my mother`s favorit. At dinner we said to her,“Happy Mother`s Day！”Mother was grateful for our preparation.

今天是母亲节，五月的的二个星期天。这是西方的传统节日，但是，许多西方节日现在在中国也很流行。
妈妈有一份全职工作，又承担了大部分家务，她是一个了不起的母亲。我和爸爸计划好好庆祝母亲节。我们一早起来，爸爸先收拾房间，然后出去采购，回来时手里捧着一束康乃馨。我让妈妈安坐在客厅里，我自己在厨房忙乎，做了几样妈妈喜欢吃的炒菜。吃饭时，我们一起说：“母亲节快乐！”妈妈十分感谢我们为他准备的一切以及庆祝活动

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.
