和很多出色的短片一样,这是一部不需要语言的优美作品,在欢快动听的音乐里,让我们做了一个诗一样的梦.片中开始的时候,加拿大还是那个苍野茫茫白雪飘飘的猎人之国,随着轰隆一声,一棵树倒下,变成了生命的另外一种形式——农夫家中的摇椅.作为忠实的观众,它看到了农夫的辛劳,经历了节日的欢愉,陪着小孩子们一起欢笑、嬉戏.也看到了窗外新出现的火车和汽车.终于有一天,因为破旧和损坏,被主人扔出了屋子.之后,世界发生了巨大的变化,高楼林立,马路纵横,昔日美丽的田园已经成为了过往的回忆,摇椅则静静地见证了这一切.直到有一天,一个现代美术馆的门卫发现了它,修好了它,把它当做自己的休息所在.美术馆中人来人往,大人们为了那些由线、圆、方块组成的抽象艺术而赞叹的时候,他们的孩子则无法从中得到任何的快乐.在小孩子的心中,在摇椅上玩一会儿的吸引力要比盯着莫名其妙的图画要有趣的多,而摇椅也重新得到了自己的快乐.入夜,无人的寂静中,那些抽象的图形化做的过往的回忆陪着摇椅一起歌唱,一起舞蹈.而短片也在欢快的音乐中结束了.

Like many excellent short movies ,this is a beautiful art requires no language.It put us into a poem-like dream along with the happy and beautiful music..At the beginning of the movie,Canada was still a country of hunts wiht snow flying everywhere..with a big sound ,a tree lied down and turned into another form of life --the swing-chair in the farm family.as a devoted audience,it saw the hardness of the farmer ,experienced the happiness of the festivals ,laughed and played with children and as well saw the new invented trains and cars .At last one day ,for the sake of being old and damaged,it was thrown out of the house by the farmer.From then on,great changes took place around the world.Tall buildings stand up ,new wide roads appear and the good old fields have become a memory in people's mind ..The chiar saw all the things in its eyes.one day,a door guarder found it and repaired it ,then rest on it .The art museum is full of people ,while the audlts are prizing the abstract arts consist of lines ruonds and squares ,their children could not get any happiness from them.In eyes of the children ,it is more interesting to play a while in the swing-chair than looking at those arts,and the chiar find back its happiness again.Night stepped down...in the quiet,the abstract and graphic memory song and danced with the chair..and at this time ..the short movie comes to its end in the happy music..
