Abstract: The education department has bought out a new round of reformed suggestions on comprehensive evaluation of education quality. It also will be used as a standard to carry out a comprehensive examination on all primary and middle schools, education and teaching. This paper is based on the analysis of the current state of English courses' academic assessment. Through two aspects, the concept of teachers and the lack of its own theory to analysis and discuss of the current situation's origins in details. And on this basis, it has put forward further specific measures of how to improve the English courses' academic assessment. Only if we have the right attitude towards academic assessment reform, follow the education and teaching rules, a positive response and from which a true implementation of "green" evaluation can be carried out to push forward the reform and development.
