I’m very glad to receive your letter. In reply, I want to tell you the following.

The President of the Student Union, has put up an announcement saying that on Sunday 29^th of March, our school will hold an English Reading Activity in Room 101 of the teaching building. The purpose of the activity is exchanging ideas on English reading and boosting English reading interest. Participants can raise any questions for other students to answer. Then there will be a heated discussion on how to raise our English comprehension abilities. Attending this gathering one can not only learn some knowledge in connection with English reading but also can make friends with one another. If you are interested in this activity you may join us on this occasion. Your presence will be warmly welcome.
