Opponents of English being the global language claim that this is a phenomenon of linguistic invasion. However, there are 3 significant factors, to support the positive attitude towards English globalization, have been ignored. Firstly, the linguistic mix is a reaction to globalization's economy. English is becoming a gateway into the more economically developed world. For instance, a person from Mexico who speaks fluent English can use this ability as a kind of social passport into English speaking countries, especially America the land of opportunity, As the British expert David Crystal, said, the,spread of English is well under way; at first, because the British not only built a global empire but settled America, and now because the world (and notably America) has acquired its first truly global-and interactive-medium, the Internet.
Secondly, the common of a language is in reverse proportion with the political and economic influence. It is a fact that although the United States is on its downhill, it should be acknowledged that it is still a superpower and the most developed country in the world. It has no rival in science and technology, military affairs, weapon, economy. Powerful national comprehensive strength makes it easy for the United States to spread English around the world. Take a simple example, English has long dominated learned journals because in history, the United Kingdom has ever built a global empire and settled America. And after that, the United States developed sharply and became one of the most powerful countries at that time. This is an inevitability of history.
Another reason is the developing demand of science and technology.
