When a person blows breaths in an unconscious person's mouth,the breath will go into the unconscious person's lungs.If the lungs are moving,then whatever that's stopping the lungs from breathing (ex.water (got chocked)),will be coughed out.And therefore,it will make the unconscious person breath again.
When we blow the breath into the person's lungs,because we are facing that person's chest,we can see his/her chest is rising as you blow in,and fall as you stop.
