My favorite cartoon character is Garfield the cat.
Garfield is fat and lazy, and always plays tricks on his dog friend Ordie and the postman. He also fights his owner for nice food, while he never catches mouse.
Although he seems to be a bad cat, I still like it very much, because in him we can find many common weakness of human beings. He is just like a mirror, always reminding us of our own problems. Meanwhlie, watching Garfield's bad behaviors makes me laugh a lot, helping me to forget troubles and headaches in everyday life.
And no one can deny that Garfield is still kind in nature, as he often can realize his mistakes and have a guilty conscience for them. As a result, he would do something good to make himself feel better, and sometimes even sacrifice his own benefits.
So I love this character very much and I think many kids and adults alike would share my view.
