Open mind generally means positive and creative thoughts.Sometimes we might come into such case that a tough problem difficult to solve in a certain method can be easily setteled in another,but all too often,we do almost everything in our traditional ways rather than serch for any alternatives and at last only to find we have missed many opportunities.From the above case we can have a visible idea of what and how important open mind is.
Open mind can bring us a lot benefits.In the first place,open mind keeps our thoughts positive.As we have now entered information age,we can help ourselves keeping up with the times with an open mind by updating our knowledge structure with the aid of various data sources from books to newspapers and from television to internet.In the second place,open mind keeps our thoughts creative.When our mind keeps open,the traditonal ideals,behaviours as well as rules are likely to be questioned for their reasonableness and therefore we can dispose of those that restrain our development,and furthermore,explore more unknown fields and make more innovations.
