我们不能将城市环境仅仅看成是自身存在的事物,而应该将其理解为由它的市民感受到的城市环境,通过视觉、听觉、嗅觉、触觉、味觉,或是光线变化的视觉感受,借助各种各样的线索,诸如对色彩、形状、动态,以及对重力场或是电场、磁场的感觉,以获得对城市环境的体验.
城市环境体验可以围绕一系列的环境体验元素组织起来,交通道路、标志物、城区边界、体验节点、城市环境区域和城市环境服务.其中在城市环境地理环境范围内的交通道路、标志物、城区边界、体验节点、城市环境区域等元素是以有形的物质环境形态存在的,而城市环境服务是无形的,又分为公共服务和商业服务两大类.有形的城市环境物质环境与无形的城市环境服务是讲述城市环境发展故事的条件,是开展城市环境体验的基础.
城市环境体验是观众与所处环境双向作用的结果.观众借助强大的适应能力,按照自己的意愿对所见事物进行选择、组织并赋予意义,因此任何一个城市环境所引起不同观众的体验也迥然不同,每个人都在创造并形成自己的环境体验.但其中又存在着一定的联系.而城市环境规划师就是要创造一个供众多人使用的环境,并创造绝大多数人达成共识的群体环境体验.

We can't only regard the urban environment as oneself the things existing ,and should interpret it as urban environment experienced from its citizens ,experience through vision ,sense of hearing ,sense of smell ,sense of touch ,sense of taste or vision which the light changes,draw support from various clues,such as to color ,form ,trends,and the feeling to gravity field or electric field ,magnetic field,in order to obtain the experience to the urban environment.
Can experience elements to organize to experience around a series of environments in urban environment,traffic route ,mark ,urban border ,experience node ,the urban environment area and urban environment service.Traffic route within the range of geographical environment of the urban environment among them,the elements ,such as mark ,urban border ,experience node ,urban environment area ,etc.exist with the tangible environmental form of material,and the urban environment service is invisible,divided into a public service and two big classes of commercial service again.The tangible material environment and invisible urban environment service of urban environment are to tell terms that the urban environment develops the story,it is the foundation of experiencing the urban environment.
It is the audience that the urban environment is experienced and result of living in environmental two-way function.Audience draw support from strong adaptive capacity ,choose ,organize and give the meaning to the finding things according to one's own will,so the experience of different audience that any urban environment causes is far different,everybody is creating and forming one's own environment to experience.But there are certain connections among them.And the planning designer of urban environment will create an environment available for numerous people,and create the colony environment that most people reach common understanding to experience.
