“The university students should pay all the cost of studies” discuss
Some people advise that the university subsidies should be canceled because they believe that university education can only benefit the students themselves not the society as a whole.In my opinion,this view is too extreme and university education can bring lots of advantages to the whole society by improving its members.Thus,to a large extent,I disagree with this view.
Firstly,the university subsidy is a part of human being’s welfare.Different people have different backgrounds and the welfare is the most effective way to help those who do not have good backgrounds for supporting them to pursue their own happiness.University subsidies are necessary for those academically capable students with economic problems to continue their studies.If university subsidies were cancelled,the life would be too unfair to these students as their life was determined by the natural rather than the hard working to a large extent.
Secondly,more society’s members can bring into the talents after the proper education,more improvements the society can get.Because university subsidies are helping more people to play their own roles in the society,it is helpful for the whole society’s development.
However,the university should help the students to become more independent,thus,it is reasonable to make more difficulties for supplying a university subsidy.Students will study harder if the system becomes stricter for them.
Overall,cancelling university subsidies will not only harm some individuals but also the society as a whole.Thus,I disagree that university subsidies should be cancelled.
