近年来,随着我国离婚率的升高,单亲家庭增多,承载亲职重负和世俗压力的单亲者尤其是单亲母亲家庭往往面临福利水平下降、心理和社会适应困扰加剧等问题,单亲家庭中的母亲及其子女面临生存和成长困境,不仅有物质方面的困难,还有心理和情感方面的障碍.因此,研究弱势单亲母亲的问题已成为摆在国家、社会及有关部门面前的一个重要任务.本文对单亲母亲面临的主要问题进行论述,首先,指出单亲母亲面临着诸如子女教育、职业发展、再婚难等多方面的问题.进而阐述了单亲母亲问题产生的原因,包括社会政策,大众的偏见、单亲母亲自身的因素,并提出了单亲母亲问题的解决对策,主要是健全社会政策、改变社会偏见,以及改变单亲母亲自身的观念.
