In today’s society, most of us have a mobile phone that brings both advantages and disadvantages. Here are some influences by having a mobile phone.
We use it to connect to others at any time. We use it to chat, do business, ask for help and get information at any time and anywhere, too. Besides, it makes our leisure time more modernized and convenient, such as navigation, notepad, calculator, player, calendar and alarm clock. Such functions bear witness to the progress of human beings. Furthermore, we can shopping online and verify our identities by using mobile phones. Sometimes we even don’t need going to the bank! So convenient, isn’t it? What’s more, it benefits our students. Some software is good for study, for instance, some English websites and software about BBC and VOA. They can also listen to some English music by it. When they get stressed, they can also play some little computer games to relax themselves.
However, every advantage has its disadvantage, there are also some bad influences. Some students are easily addicted to it. Therefore, they do poorly in study. What’s worse, it does harm to everyone’s vision, even health. It brings cell phone radiation, which does badly to human bodies. Meanwhile, it makes us more indifferent. We greet others by forwarding text messages. It’s really very formulaic. It’s of great difference from writing letters, which express our emotions more.
In short, we should weigh pros and cons carefully and make rational use of mobile phones.
