在英文里,要加 the 的国名有两种：
1.复数的国名 －－ 后面都有 s
the United States 美国
the Netherlands 荷兰
the Seychelles 塞舌尔
2.形容词短语 ／ 复合短语的国名
the People's Republic of China 中华人民共和国
the Republic of Korea 大韩民国
the United Kingdom 联合国王
其他的国名如 China,Australia,Germany,Russia 等,都是一个大词而已,所以不用加 the.好像只有一个例外,就是 the Ukraine （乌克兰）.
