I’m glad to hear that you are coming to China soon. In my opinion, both air travel and train travel have advantages and disadvantages.
Travelling by air can save much time. For example, if you fly from Qingdao to Guangzhou, it takes only two hours. If you take the train, you will not get to Guangzhou in 23 hours. Also, air travel is more comfortable. The train is usually crowded and you have to sit on your seat for a long time. You will get tired after the long travel. On the other hand, train travel also has its advantages. First, it costs only 550 yuan while travelling by air costs 1200 yuan. What’s more, you can enjoy the beautiful countryside views outside the window along the way.
