研究各筝艺流派特点及发展,对于保护流派,继承、发扬传统有着现实的作用和重要的意义.研究古筝流派,应从横、纵两个方面考虑,横的方面就是从艺术的方面,研究形成每个流派的内容和形式；纵的方面即研究各流派所依存的客观环境,包括历史过程、社会背景、文化因素等等对于形成各个流派的影响和作用.本文尝试从流变、衍展、代表人物及曲目、风格特点及演奏技法等方面对我国的七大筝派进行探讨,并对筝派的成因进行简要分析.
