Recently a survey was conducted. According to the survey, the near-sight rate and reasons for it can be various in terms of age and personal habits.
There are 23% of the primary students, 55% junior school students and 70% senior school students who are near-sighted. With the growing of the age, more and more students are affected by near-sight.
Why are they affected by near-sight? I think one of the reasons is that they use their eyes too long. And also, they don't use their eyes healthily. Maybe they often wipe their eyes with their dirty hands and sometimes use the dirty towels. What's worse, they read books while walking, taking the bus and under the strong light. Besides, they lack the knowledge to protect the eyes.
