我们说个有趣的现象,就是赌石.赌石就是根据一块毛料的外表,进行分析判断,里面到底有没有翡翠.我们说的赌石应该是赌的翡翠,原石多来自缅甸.
有时候,根据毛料的外观,形状,纹理,色彩,再结合相关的地质知识,人们可以推断出里面是不是有翡翠,这个时候,现象体现出了本质.但是,还有很多时候,外观看上去里面明明有翡翠的,结果开出来一看,都是石头,这就是假象.
因此,人们可以通过理论知识来分析现象,得出本质,但不会总是成功.要想更为有把握地了解本质,除了通过现象分析以外,最好的方法就是去实践,就如动手解开赌石的石头一样.

Let's talk about something interesting---- the "gamble on stones",which means someone buys a raw stone(usually from Burma) with a very high price through his judgement that there is jade inside it.
Sometimes, appearances show the essence,just as we finally find jade inside a stone by the evidence on its appearance, shape .pattern and color or by using other relevant knowledge.However and often, appearances are found false,when the evidence on the stone cheats our eyes.
In conclusion, we can't always manage to discover the essence of a matter only by analyzing its appearance with theoriotical methods.And a more reasonble way to find the essence,is practice,just as when we cut the stone open.
