茧站主要的收茧用具有：公分秤、盘秤、磅秤、削茧刀、烘箱、评茧仪、茧筐、竹箩等.同时,要陈列标准样茧并公布计价标准.鲜茧收购执行“优茧优价劣茧低价,按质评级,分等论价”的政策,要求严格实行“仪评”,禁止“目评”收茧.
大部分茧站都按照国家规定的干壳量计价办法收购.或者,严格按茧层率计价办法收购.

The main tools for collecting cocoons were centimeter scale,Pan scale,scale and cocoon cutter,oven,cocoon instrument,silkworm basket,bamboo baskets.Meanwhile,they needed to display the standard sample of cocoon and announced pricing standards.Fresh cocoon purchasing implemented the policy of the "good cocoon with good price,rating cocoons according to the quality,different levels have different price" and strict implementation of the policy above and do not evaluate cocoons just by eyes.
Most of the cocoon stations collected cocoons according to State regulations method of Gan Qiao valuation.Or,collecting cocoons according to price that valuated by cocoon layer rate .
