Oxford Textile,Inc,is located in rural Warren County,New Jersey in the historic town of Oxford,about 1 1/2 hours from Manhattan.The company facility encompasses over 300 acres of land,150,000 square feet of building space,its own waste-water treatment plant and heliport.OTI has been a textile dyeing and finishing operation since 1948.
Mario Guarriello,Sr.joined the company straight out of school in the early 1950's.After a stint in the military spent in Korea,he returned and became jr partner in the 1960's.Upon retirement of the owners in 1980,Mario became the president and sole owner of the company.Since that time,equipment has been updated and the plant expanded and modernized into the state of the art facility that exists today.In 1992,the Guarriello and the Zavaglia families joined to form Amitech,a company that manufacturers chemicals for the textile industry and distributes them both domestically and abroad.In 1993,a 12-color rotary screen print machine was purchased to further expand the operation.
Mario's three sons have become active partners in the organization.Nicholas is the plant manager who oversees all production,and is in charge of scheduling work through the plant.Mario Jr.manages the dye house and color formulation laboratory.Vincent is the production manager for Amitech,as well as the purchasing agent for OTI.
OTI dyes and prints fabrics for the apparel and home furnishing markets.The company has the capability to process 2,000,000 yards of fabric monthly,and due to the diversified equipment it has available,a wide variety of fabrics can be handled successfully.The company does both box and jet dyeing,continuous range bleaching and printing on all types of woven and knit fabrics.Specialty processes such as puff-printing and burn-outs can be accommodated as well.
