Dear Ms Liu,
I am writing to ask for 3 days off.
I am having a bad cold and my doctor has told me to stay in bed and rest. As much as I want to attend the classes, I am afraid I can't risk infecting others to attend the classes. I must follow the doctor's orders and take a rest at home.
I promise I will try to follow up with the lessons afterwards.
