A friend of mine recommanded me a book named "The Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva",and I have just finished it last night.I was so impressed by the vows the filial girls made in the book that I could not fall asleep.I wanted to do something for my mom as well.Finally I decided to do some housework for her.I got up at three o'colck this morning.After cleaning myself up I did the laundry first.I put the dirty clothes into the washing machine.Then I sweeped the floor.Forty minutes later,the clothes were cleaned,so I pulled them out and hung them on the balcony.That was ten past five.Then I silently went out to the supermarket nearby,to buy some food and materials.I dod not reach home until twenty to six.I made a bentō for my mom so that she wouldn't have to have Roman Noodles for lunch at work.After that I made a fancy breakfast for her.I wanted to give my dear mom a big surprise so I planned my time well.The breakfast was done at six twenty,and was put on the table.Then I went back to bed quietly.Ten minutes later,the alarm clock rang and my mom got up.She was really surprised and even teared.She kissed me and I felt at the top of the world.I have never been that happy and satisfied.Not ever.I have made up my mind that I shall help my mom as much as I can from now on,practicing the way the filial girls in the book have illustrated for us.
