My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.
Besides that, I helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. I helped them read English and improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

it is hotly discussed among students these days how to live a meaningful summer holiday since it's coming around the coner.as for me , a colourful summer holiday should involve the following:
exercise,reading ,doing housework and volunteering.
as we all know, good health is the basic of our study and work.thus it is of great significance for us to do some physical exercises.at the same time ,to do some reading will also benefit us a lot .not only can we gain more knowledge but also it can broaden our horizon.apart from the above ,we could also do some housewok or act as an volunteer to help the farmers with their farm work,with which we can experience the happiness of doing a good deed.
all in all , summer holiday is precious and we shoud make good use of it.
