Thank you very much for your application to study MSc International Accounting & Finance at the Business School at the University of Birmingham. Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we are unable to offer you a place on the 12-month programme you have applied for.
However, we are able to offer you entry to our MSc International Accounting & Finance 24-month programme.
If you are interested in undertaking the 24-month programme, please let me know by emailing me at [e-mail] so that the university can send you the official offer letter.
*** If I do not hear from you by 28th November 2011, I will assume that you do not wish to be offered a place on the 24-month programme ***
The first year of the 24-month programme involves completing our Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) programme, which will provide you with a broad foundation of knowledge in business disciplines. On successful completion of this first year (a grade average of > 60%), you will be able to proceed directly into the Masters (MSc) programme beginning in the following September.

对的，这个是让你上一年预科然后在上正课，而且你还得在11.28之前回复不然就视作你放弃这次机会了。说实话预科真的是没什么用，尤其是商科和文科的，要是数学方面的还可以考虑，（我也是去英国读研，收到了曼大和格拉斯哥的offe），而且你本科是211的均分要是80左右的话应该可以申请到更好的学校，你甚至可以冲一下曼大的商科（世界排名28）。反正我个人觉得预科就是烧钱的，基本没什么用，说适应环境什么的其实读个几周的语言就好了，你可以自己考虑一下，看看其他大学。有什么不懂的可以直接问我。
