去google上搜了一下,发现这个有点“庸人自扰、没事找事做、简单事情复杂化”的意思,而非“积少成多、精卫填海”.
例句：
People kill me..they really do..they make a mountain out of an ant hill and think the world is going to come to an end.
You guys try your hardest to make a mountain out of an ant hill.She probably has work obligations,you idiots.
One of my favorite saying in life is:“Don’t make a mountain out of an ant hill” and I think it applies well for your point about a sweaty/dirty runner.
The bottom line is,no one should make a mountain out of an ant hill.This isn’t something thats really an issue,unless someone is breaking the rules/guidelines somewhere and neither side wants that to happen and both actively strive to prevent it.
