University Life
As everybody knows, the life in university is of great difference from that in high school. You don’t have to spend all your energy on your study. You will have much more spare time when entering university.
Besides academics, there are plenty of associations organized by students on high grade, such as Guitar Association. Art Association, English Association, Film Association.
Consequently, students are seen more free and easy in university.
Despite the relaxing style of study in university, many students are actually persevering to their goals.
Especially for those come from poor families, they are more likely to endeavour towards their aims.
Furthermore, university is also a place to develope the students' communication skills.
Gradually they mingle and merge into a big family, make friends with each other.
However, making friends in university is not as easy as it says.
I am a sophomore in XXX university, spent my first year in the university yet I do not have any close friends in campus.
Just within a year or two, I'm considering to find someone who has common interest as me.
Keenly interested in English Literature, I found myself hardly have the common topic with my peers.
Last semester, I won the first prize in an English Recitation Competition.
Most of my classmates were surprised to see the most introvert person winning a "speaking contest".
None of them would give me cold shoulders afterwards.
On top of that, I had also received some love letters from my classmates, well, it was ironic.
Prosiness no longer prevails my university life.
Quizzically everyone seems so friendly and sociable to me.
Rather tired of social life, I was repentant of winning that competition.
So I decided to not show up in public.
Torment was not gone with my evasion.
Usually I would have my dinning at school canteen, but now I had to ask my roomate to buy food for me, as I did not want to be besiged by a crazy crowd of "fans".
Vacation finally came with my anxious anticipation.
