那一天,我们没能找到她.
It is/was.that.句型是强调句型.但是此句没有that,是不是电影里因为是口语省略了?
我觉得couldn‘t 在这里不是虚拟语气,因为有was为过去时,所以couldn't是can’t 的过去分词
可以用didn't,但是意思上就表达不出没能找到她,因为他们已经努力找了,而用didn't的话,表示没经过努力的找没找到.
以上是个人意见,希望
