Thank you so much for your letter this morning. I quite understand your feelings and worries. Being an exchange student going abroad to a foreign country when you have never left home on your own before, that can be very hard. It is not always easy when you are leaving your comfort zone, away from your parents, family and friends for the first time. But I can assure you that my family is very warm. My parents are very kind and caring. And most importantly they are
very open-minded. You will find no problems coming to stay with us and won’t be made binding to any of our Chinese customs, traditions or whatever. In addition, I am very keen in learning English.
