Due Attention Should Be Given to the Study of Chinese
No could have failed to notice the fact that ignoring the study of Chinese has gained increasing popularity.Confronted with the dilemma,should we carry on the practice?
People hold different views toward this phenomenon.Some people convinced that the Chinese examination system which paid more attention to English lead to students’ neglect of study Chinese.By way of example,they mentioned the fact that there is a Cet-4/Cet-6 in university instead of existing similar Chinese Test.While others have a different opinion.They believe that the key to ignoring Chinese is the invasion of foreign culture.In recent years,a great number of movies and books produced in America or Europe have unlimitedly invaded here,and created a large influence to us.Who is right?There is some truth to all these explanations,but they aren’t quite sufficient.
As far as I am concerned,traditional Chinese is valued fortune our ancestor has left.We should attach importance to Chinese instead of put away it.In other word,one language education should not be achieved at the cost of other language.
