At 1332 hours Pilot boarded the vessel prior out to midsteam for turning purpose .At 1440 the tug "EVA" was made fast on the port bow.Mooring lines both fore and aft were let go and the anchor which was in water was heaved home.Various engine movement were made while the vessel moved downstream to the turning position.At 1455 the tug "EVA"was let go and the vessel proceeded on her own to the turning position.The port anchor was let go at 1458 and more various engine movements were made as necessary.At 1514 the port anchor was heaved aweigh and the tug "EVA",while butting the vessel to help her turn round hit the starboard side of the vessel abreast No.5 hold.At 1518 the port anchor was let go once more and the vessel was brought up with three shackles of cable in water.
An examination of damage caused by the tug "EVA'revealed that there was a hold in the lower hold of No.5,plate numbered G6 in way of frame No.22 on the starboard side.the hole was seen to be about 12" long by2" at the top running down to nothing at the bottom,the hole being vertical.I hereby hold the tug "EVA" entirely responsible for the damage and any cost involved in repairs,delay,etc.

由拖轮EVA引起的损害检查显示本轮5舱下部洞穿,破损位置在右侧G6列板、22号肋骨处.目视洞口尺寸为12*2,呈竖直方向.
我仅以此要求拖轮EVA对我轮造成的损失及维修等相关费用负责.
