In order to make appraisal work of employee performance better, it is the most critical to design the assessment indicator. KPI is used to refine and summarize to achieve the extraction of the critical success in company management.And it is also an effective tool for the company strategic objectives whcih are broken down into operational vision and quantitative indicators.
KPI method used in the quantitative management, not only can improve the efficiency of quantitative management, but also can ensure the accomplishment of company strategic objectives. This paper intends to describe the problem happened in the KPI management of new employees on the basis of the meaning and the design principles of KPI. It also describes some content, which can raise people's awareness about the important role of the KPI management.so that it can avoid problems happening in design and promote the fuction of KPI management. Based on the studies of Gree Electric Appliances located in Shijiazhuang East Development Zone, this paper analyzes the current situation and problemsof KPI management on the primary new employees.It also proposes the development countermeasures to provide a reference to the rational using of staff and the improving of modern enterprises performance efficiency.
