There lived a moneylender named Shylock in Venice.He had much money,but many people hated Shylock.Of all the merchants who lived in Venice,one hated Shylock more than the others.His name was Antonio.Antonio had much money,too.Bue Antonio was a very generous money lender.He lent money to people in trouble and often didn't charge them interest.So Shylock hated Antonio as well.
One day,Bassanio,Antonio's best friend came to Antonio for another loan.But Antonio didn't have any money at that time.He've spent all of his money on merchandise.So they had to go out to find Shylock.Shylock said,"There thousand ducatd is a lot if money.If you don't pay me back on time,I want a pound of flesh.I'll take a pound of flesh from any part of your body."Antonio had no choice but to agree the terms of his.
After a month,it was time to pay back the money.But Antonio's ships had all sunk.He had no money.So shylock insisted to cut a pound of meat of Antonio's.Antonio would die.
At last,a lawyer saved Antonio.She said to Shylock,"There were no conditions that gived you blood.If you let him out of a drop of blood,the City of Venice will take all of your money and land.Do you understand?"Shylock was very angry.
